Wands and Wonga

We had a fantastic day out at The Harry Potter Studio in Hertfordshire. Poppy and George are the real die hard HP fans but really, it was an enjoyable trip for all of us. The scenery and sets on show are all amazing.
They recommend you get there 30 mins before your tour so you do...and go in the shop. You end 2 hours walking around a giant aircraft hanger, following the tour and lo and behold you find yourself ....back in the shop. And my goodness, they know how to make money; £25 for a wand, £8 for a small box of jelly beans, £70 for a sweater...They charge like the Light Brigade.

Choir started again tonight which was a bit of a mixed bag. Only 3 weeks to get our 4 songs sorted before the Village Picnic. It was lovely to be back and singing together even if we do sound a bit dodgy in places.
Back to school/work tomorrow for all of us.
