Empty dog house

Lily's dog house is empty and so is a spot in my heart. Walked home today from my RSVP patrol & it struck me that Lily would not be there to greet me. She would always hear or smell me when I came home and would be at the door with her bone in her mouth growling & tail (whole back end) wagging. I miss her most when coming home or walking with wife & Nevada (husky) around the recreation/school field. Her dog bed went with her to the Vets.
