Got up for Liverpool far too early for my liking, was still up to the wire til I got to Euston. Wee trip to Liverpool.

People asked me what I thought if it, the weather was absolutely stunning and as a result you couldn't love it more really.

I came to see the art of long term family friend, Loren. Who is super great at painting and stuff and just chatting in general. After coffee and art(and a brief and shockingly bad trip to graphics) we met up with her mum and dad for Thai.which was brill, Singha is a great beer and Neal is the reason my dad passed me on to it.

After we chilled a bit after tea we hit the pub and met some of her art mates. Nothing special but just a nice wee night. Everyone was lovely.

Earlier in the day we also saw the two cathedrals. I'm really not down for all that, but they were impressive. Catholic one was beaut with the sun through the glass and the Anglicans intricacy of stone work and odd neon bible verse made it memorable.
