Albizia julibrissin

This photo is of a small specimen of the Silk Tree, also incorrectly known as mimosa. There are buds, blooms in all stages, and the delicately divided leaves. We were at the coast, because it was a really lovely day. Went looking around at one real estate open house, took a nice walk along the beach and in town, and had a bite to eat and drink at an Italian place I've wanted to try. Oysters on the half shell and scallops on crispy polenta with some type of balsamic sauce, accompanied by piping hot peasant bread and ice cold IPA. Can't beat that!
