Kin

My cousin, who is 5 years older than me and like a sister to me, has a daughter who is 5 years older than my only daughter. Today they drove 3 hours to my house (6 hours round trip!) to deliver fresh cut lilacs (one of my favorites) and a rhubarb clipping from our Grandmother's plant for my birthday. When I saw them at the door, my heart swelled. Kristin is the most thoughtful and selfless person. And Greta, her daughter, is her Mini Me. I look at this photo and I totally see us when we were kids. Patient vs. Dramatic.
