provençal present

Pierre got me this yesterday. I've been looking for a nice apron for ages, so it was really thoughtful of him. I love it.

I used it to start the daube process this morning....you marinade big chunks of beef in a whole bottle of wine with onions, carrots, bay leaves, thyme, rosemary, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper.

Don and his family arrived yesterday. Can't wait to see them!
