MERHABA MY FRIENDS

After a long hard morning,
lazing on the couch infront
of a roaring coal fire, i decided
to wander down the local, just
for a bit of fresh air like.
A noisy lot in the bar, banging
them dominoes on the table,
a working man need to enjoy
his pint in peace and quiet.
So i wandered out side to look
at the view of the headland in
the snow. ahh, fresh air, and free,
yer can`t beat it. the snow keeps
me pint nice and cold, just how i like
it, not like that stuff down south ,
that tastes like luke warm lemonade,
a right soft lot down there.
I wish our lass were here now, fortunately
she at work, somebody has to keep the
wheels of industry turning, it might as well
be our flo. a bit of snow won`t stop her from
working. I`ll have a wander back in the bar and
glance through the racing post, i feel lucky.
it`s a hard life up north.
