Woke to the haar having rolled in from the sea and watched it gently recede as the day wore on. It is SO cold and is definitely not helping my back. We have the biggest icicles that I have ever seen hanging above all the windows. Nick chopped the last of our wood, so we will either have to go foraging or find someone who can deliver sometime very soon. A cosy evening awaits of homemade pizza and our continued watching of the Lord of the Rings trilogy with the children (if they can sit harmoniously together on the sofa!)
