The Long Border in June
Rather an emergency Blip in a way - I meant to take one earlier. I think I'm going to ditch my little Canon compact - it's really not that good and I've taken a tiny chip out of the lens too which causes mistiness if a picture is taken into the light.
So this is a quick shot of part of the Long Border - the huge white-flowered shrub is Olearia macrodonta - a daisy bush sometimes known as New Zealand Holly.
On the left is Cordyline australis, the Cabbage tree, also from New Zealand.
