BLOTS ON THE LANDSCAPE!

We left Bergen op zoom after breakfast and headed for Ostend. We arrived in the middle of a maritime festival. I took a lot of photographs of boats and the sea front. There was also a shallow stepped area with shooting jets of water where children and adults alike were having fun playing in the water.
Along the esplanade we came across these modern sculptures - there was no information board and I'm sure they were commissioned at a high cost, but I personally felt they were hideous and looked entirely incongruous in that situation!
