George & the Dragon

I noticed this statue for the first time on a road in Glasgow I use fairly regularly as it leads to my favourite camera shop; I was in buying paper today. Anyway, the reason it stuck out is, it is in a state, all the sandstone buildings in the area are like new, the weegie council usually looks after its statues, gets upset when folk abuse them. It took a few seconds to click, this is George and the Dragon, wonder if there is a wee bit of bias here, maybe WasteMonster should fund a restoration.
