Cash

Various things happened today which meant our plans didn't work out. This meant I could take R out, just me and her, leaving some poorly members of the family at home.

Living in a cash culture has its challenges. I hardly had any money on me. We went to a new, posh cafe and told the workers I only had X amount and what could I buy? R settled for this chocolate eclair and I drank water! Its definitely a good way of saving money (and calories!) when you don't have a credit card.
