Admiration and Inpiration

A bit of photojournalism today — at the BEDA Hall, Ballineen where locals gathered to congratulate local man Alex O'Shea who ran the Cork city marathon in his full fire gear and broke the world record to raise funds for the Irish Guide Dogs and the BEDA Playground Project, Ballineen.
He has not only given to the run but also given time to people - as can be seen here, where, in spite of tiredness, he chats to local children about the race.
From such moments inspiration grows.
