My beautiful Beth

I've not had a great week.

I took Beth to the vets because of her swollen shoulder. She probably has a large tumour. The prognosis is not good.

My Dad has not been well. I won't to into detail but the bottom line is my parents need to go into a nursing home. Today Social Services stepped in. Dad wants to go, Mum doesn't.

I've found two rooms in a nursing home less than 10 minutes walk away. I'm going to view them tomorrow morning and Mum and Dad will be assessed on Thursday. I feel hugely relieved and very sad at the same time.
