William Wallace

The William Wallace Statue is a statue in Aberdeen, Scotland, depicting Sir William Wallace. The statue was created in 1888 by William Grant Stevenson, it is positioned opposite His Majesty's Theatre, and across from Union Terrace Gardens.

The statue bears this inscription: ‘I tell you a truth, liberty is the best of all things, my son, never live under any slavish bond’.
