View down Wharfedale

This view of Wharfedale winding round to the left of the picture with the far horizon of the top of the neighbouring Nidd valley never fails to please.
It was a tranquil and still evening as I noticed the horse grazing in the field which caused me to pause my evening bike ride to the nearby village of Burnsall and savour this view.
It doesn't seem that long ago that this same view gave equal delight when the hills had a dusting of light snow
