The Tower Hill Memorial 1914-18

This memorial for those lost at sea and is situated near the Tower of London. I have taken it at an angle to show all the names inscribed on the wall plaques. I met my friend C for coffee and a good natter. We used to be work colleagues. I am retired but she has many work years left due to the changes in pension entitlement :-(

It rained all morning and we were glad to shelter under this Memorial for a while. The sun came out later but not for long.
