Silver Birch

Some years ago I did a course on making stained glass windows. During the first lesson I was shown the basic skills and drew up a 'cartoon' of a design I wanted to make. I thought some silver birch trunks may look good and by the end of the lesson I had selected some glass from the scrap box ready to begin.

The following week I returned with the finished window to show. I was then told this project was meant to last for the whole 9 week term...

I moved on and completed a few more projects before the end of term. I did one more term then moved onto other things.
