Bee Orchid

We have had the first of our summer Club meets of this season. there were about 15 members who came to the Ragpits (old chalk pits) where the tiny orchids are almost in full bloom; it's worth going back another time.

This is one of a selection of macro shots (or was it zoom? I forget. there were also some very large snails - browny-white - and lots of slugs!

We continued for liquid refreshment in a local hostelry, The Shoulder of Mutton.
