Homeless cat

This cat (I know his name, but not how to spell it) was made homeless by our neighbour's fire. He's not allowed in the house they've rented. But, before you worry about him sleeping on tree stumps and living off mice and lizards, you should know that he is officially fed by one neighbour, and unofficially steals the food of another neighbour's cat. We are responsible for feeding him when the official neighbours are away in a week or so. (Mr 'allergic to cats' B has not been informed yet....)

Cat watching aside, it was a busy day of posting stuff on freegle, finding an office for Mr B at short notice and a house sitter to wait in for a delivery in Fife while he is in said office. Meanwhile he began the long job of narrowing down our possessions to what will fit in a truck, interspersed with calls to me to tell me just how much stuff we have. Indeed.
