Club Night in the Pits

First night of of the camera club summer season for me (Chris). We have an assortment of venues to visit between now and the end of August. Tonight it was the Ragpits at Aston Clinton, a nature reserve full of orchids and other wild flowers together with a collection of snails and slugs amongst other things! Although it was a bit overcast, we had a good group out crawling around the ground with tripods, macro lenses and reflectors. The blip used my current close-up setup of choice, the Lensbaby Sweet 35 and macro converters. A slight breeze made capturing something still was tricky but this one seemed ok.

After the shoot a quick drive to pick up Annie from Luton Airport after a couple of days work in Edinburgh, nice to have her home.
