Round 6 Strand Braided Bread
Today I braided and baked Challah bread.
Made a large 6 strand loaf and regular size 4 strand loaf for tomorrow's potluck in ceramics class; also a long 4 strand loaf for Tommy; two small 2 strand loaves and this round 6 strand loaf for us.
The loaves for class are already sliced and in Ziploc bags. The sweet cheese spread to accompany the bread is firming up in the frig.
Getting the basket, towels and knives ready now, so in the morning I can just grab and go!
Having mastered how to braid fancy bread these past weeks, I will now concentrate on finding the best Challah recipe from the many versions I have collected.
