On the Painted Waterfront

This one is for DDW's On the Waterfront challenge today. I knew I wasn't going to have a moment's time to get close to the water, so this morning before work, I took a quick shot of a small painting of the waterfront that I picked up at a thrift store years ago. Then I checked online about how to insert yourself into a photo (to make sure it wasn't beyond my capabilities before going further). After that, I took a picture of myself and copied it onto the picture of the painting. I used the eraser tool to get rid of the chair I was sitting in, added a watercolor effect to make me blend in a bit, and changed it to mono. At the point where I had zoomed in and started to erase, I realized that I hadn't perfectly positioned and sized myself, but I was too busy to start over, so this will have to do. Another day of experimenting completed. :)

Still no change in Cody, but there is always hope, so we appreciate all your positive thoughts and prayers. Thanks so much~
