Layering

June is turning out to be the month of cloud layers. Much like last year when early in Summer we were hit by a stream of storms off the Atlantic as the jetstream sat miserably to the south throwing cold wet storms at us for a while, so too this year we have streams and streams of alternating storm, then break.

Here we have a break that shows a little of the layers that lie above the rolls, herring boning and mottling that fills the majority of the day.
