Sensuous Sunrise!

Manual Setting Challenge: DAY:4

Following the debacle a couple of weeks ago I've discovered the website that gives me the exact Sunrise and Sunset times. So armed with ACCURATE information this time I woke really early, early enough to make a cuppa and head out to Elliott Heads just south of Bundaberg CBD.

It's a glorious area with very high tidal variations. I was delighted to see that this morning at 6.15am the tide was out and I could walk right out onto the sand bar.
Wouldn't have hurt to check the tide charts as well!!

Sunrise happened on cue and while I was waiting for 6.29am to roll around I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the area. I was also practising my Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO settings to see the effect the different settings had on what lay before me. This was quite excruciating at some level because while I was focussing on the sunrise that was about to happen there was a sea eagle dive bombing fish in the estuary and pelicans prancing around in the shallows. No time to try a "High Shutter Speed" G from Brunz :-0), I'll have to go back another morning to practise that little number!!

I'm so appreciative and really touched with the very generous feedback from Blippers over the first three days of my Manual Setting Challenge and I really welcome your input. What a great way to learn.
