Winter veg garden

I've been watching reruns of river cottages winter series and I'm inspired to spend some time in my winter veg plot.

I think I actually prefer the slow and steady growth of winter veggies ahead of those planted for summer. Things don't go to seed as quickly, colour is more intense, and the flavours are sweeter and fuller.

I'm looking forward to picking fresh peas in few weeks time.
