Vivid

I was coming to Sydney by train tonight as it's Grandparents Day (our first!!) at Elizabeth's school tomorrow and didn't fancy getting here by 9.30am from the mountains.

Then I remembered Vivid is still on, so diverted via Circular Quay for a look. It really is pretty spectacular. Being Thursday Wednesday didn't seem to stop the crowds though.

I was lucky to find a spot behind some construction to put up the tripod and get a few shots. Not exactly in the class of some the experts have posted, but will do for starters.
One issue is the lights keep moving, which isn't what you want with the slow shutter speed.

There were more elegant ones of the Opera House, but this is the most colourful.
