Bee wearing Summer furs!

This is my first bee shot of the year. I ventured out at lunchtime and found a whole bunch of bees supping the nectar from the comfrey plants at the back of the pond at work. I think this might be a tree bee?

I used my Raynox DCR-250 Macro Attachment to get a bit closer. A great bit of inexpensive and very portable kit for macro shots.

I reckon this will be it for the day, the rain has set in.....hope the bees have found some shelter.
