Tynemouth Market

The weekend market is held in the railway station. It's a brilliant venue as the vast roof keeps everything dry. Tynemouth was a very popular seaside resort during the victorian times and very popular for "days out" probably up till the 60's. Hence the huge glass roof and the number of platforms. The metro still comes in and out during the market. This place always has a sense of coming home as I was born here..not actually in the station mind.
