Emerald Dragonfly

Reached Loch Bran to see a larva running out of the pond. After two metres it climbed up the heather, dried out and then it's back split and the dragonfly began to emerge. It took three and three quarter hours after which it flew off into the birches. It was brilliant and I believe it is a Brilliant Emerald! Truly was!! Wow!
