The inspector cometh.
We had a huge rush this morning. Because we let our house during the season we need to keep our star rating and this is no easy matter. There do not appear to be any clear criteria and the final award seems to be based on the whim of the inspector. I was lucky today though. The inspector was an outgoing, amiable man called David who seemed relatively pleased with the house, so hopefully, we will keep our 4 stars.
In the afternoon we visited Brixham, a long time holiday haunt of ours and for me, my holiday memories go back to childhood. Walked along the windswept jetty to capture a photo of the lighthouse just as the storm clouds rolled in.
