I was in no rush to get back from Bedford, so I had a wander around the gardens at Woburn Abbey. Although the main gardens are spectacular - especially the lakes and the (very old) trees, this was probably my favourite bit, tucked away in a quiet corner. On a quiet Wednesday afternoon, I had the place to myself.
