Cave of Aven d'Orgnac

One of the biggest and most impressive limestone caves of Europe Aven d'Orgnac at Barjac.

A path leads visitors through 700 steps down to a depth of 121 meters. The Salle de Joly is huge with over 30 meters high, 90 meters wide and 125 meters long with a huge stalagmite.
In the Salle Rouge is a 34 meter deep well. This is not directly accessible through a special excursion.
