Mummy on a Mission

Been quite a stressful day today.

The hunt for my sons old passport continued in earnest, after a phone call to the passport office this morning, culminating in me attempting to access my unaccesable loft (unless your Mr C) to check ski jackets, to no avail.

Little Miss E was out of sorts today, quiet, didn't eat and slept a lot.

A dash to school, to pick up munchkin 1 and a free clock, then off to the nearest large town to find the magic photo booth for yep you guessed it passport photos, mainly for my son so he can get to Belgium to see his first Grand Prix and for Little Miss so we can go to Egypt for New Year.
However, all did not go well, first set (this set) he wasn't looking at the camera, and Little Miss had a total
Meltdown when it was her turn. The next ten minutes was like the scene from a horror film with limbs flailing everywhere as I was trying to get her head lined up in the circle. Gave up, spun off the whirly seat, stumbled out magic booth, shoved munchkin 1 back in so as not to waste another £5 while Little Miss was screaming and dangling from my neck. All this was providing a great spectacle for those out side the supermarket.

Mr C also called from the sandy place. Still not looking good for my tip to Athens, but I'm trying not to think about it or I'd cry. :(

But...every cloud has a silver lining. Turned house upside down again (only because Mr C can't remember where he put it) and hey presto, passport found in the kids craft cupboard! Obvious!

Next, after E fell asleep on my bed, a trip to some good friends to have Munchkin 1's photo signed and form countersigned and Bobs yer uncle.

So as today was just awful, my Blip is equally awful. However, this is a journal, and so for me it's an apt image.
