Winding House

Looking up the top section of the Alltywllt incline above Nant Gwernol, the upper terminus of the Talyllyn Railway. It's a stiff climb, a public footpath now, paths extending deep into the forest. When I was a boy the path went straight up, fiercely steep at the top. Now the last section is overgrown, the path turning back along the contours.
