Inflating a dinghy in the middle of the sidewalk, using the car to power the air pump. An evening on the river fishing, perhaps.

Drama in front of the house this afternoon - if you go large you can just about see a tow truck at the end of the block. I didn't see the collision but boy did I hear it. There were two loud bangs, I made my way to the front of the house to see one car with a smashed bumper on one side of the intersection, the other car had crossed the sidewalk, through a neighbor's front yard stopping just shy of their deck. Two small kids in the back of that car - thankfully both in child seats and completely fine - driver dad not so great. Ambulance and firetruck arrived and got dad into the ambulance (neck brace on), cops arrived, family member arrived to take kids home. Thankfully no one on the sidewalk in the path of that car. Scary to think about and glad everyone was basically ok.
