Firstly, welcome to the world Rosario Mae Battersby. My amazing cousin Jemma gave birth to a beautiful baby girl this morning, so a pretty perfect start to the day.

This pic was taken at Bryant Park. They're screening the ice hockey finals, NY Rangers vs LA Kings, on a massive screen in the park. We went along for the first third. The atmosphere was great every time the Rangers scored a point but the games are too long. The finals are also played in a best of 7 (seven!!!) format. If there's a chance they'll win then ill probably go for the final match, it's a nice way to spend an evening.

The Empire State Building was looking particularly colourful tonight, apparently it was in aid of Caribbean Week.
