Asparagus - A Rite of Spring

We were off and gone in search of flooring this morning. We heard there was a special sale on recycled rubber mats in Salmon Arm. When it comes time to finish the cement floor in the new office, this product should be just the thing. I am sure it will outlive me!

We made the deal before lunch, drove to Armstrong to our favourite Chinese restaurant for lunch, then a quick stop at a farmer's roadside market before turning back for home. We've come back with a small jar of asparagus relish and three pounds of fresh asparagus. I made macaroni and cheese and asparagus for dinner.
