Montagne Noire

A great day out today, going up the valley from Caunes-Minnervois into the Montagne Noire which is surprisingly varied and beautiful. We had a look around Olargues, classed as a Plus Beaux Village, much more scenic and interesting than some of the touristy, hyped up villages in Provence which have the same title.

And also, yep you guessed it, another gorge - the Gorges d'Heric. It was a lovely hot day so all of us had a paddle in the tumbling river that runs through it. Mollie le Collie was persuaded to go in a bit deeper than she normally does in water. Apologises for not posting one of the very cute photos of her after her dip.
