Lily

Lily is our Golden Retriever. She always looks sad until all the family are home and she hates her photo being taken.

As retrievers go she is useless. If anyone comes home she'll rush off to get a 'give' (such as her blanket) but will never let you have it. She'll drag her heals whilst on a walk but if she sees a fox or she thinks it's time to go home you won't see her for dust!

The best photo I have taken of her was after she fell into the lily pond at Stackpole (NT) in Pembrokeshire. She was standing on a slightly submerged walkway and the lily pond weed hid the edge... Only her front half got wet as her rump stayed up in the air! Lily after the Lily Pond.
