Interesting Day
Snow overnight so everything was white again this morning. Maybe 6" of snow so not too much. Dressed for warmth, but by lunchtime was sweating a bit.
Numbers are still low, and despite feeling rubbish I stuck at it and got a reasonable foto total. Reasonable-ish. Maybe.
Met a British cycling group coming over which was nice, riding to raise money for the Dallaglio Foundation, and somewhere amongst the group was Lawrence Dallaglio, and somewhere else in the group in green/yellow glasses was Andrew Ridgelely.
We'll be looking a bit later to see if we can identify them on the website.
Afternoon ended with a rather drunk Italian chap who wanted a picture taken of his 93 mother against Mount Ortler. Whilst arranging what he wanted, he forgot to put the handbrake on and the car started rolling down Stelvio, with his mother and dog in the car. An odd scene ensued with him running after the car, jumping in, and hitting the brakes before he hit the wall that was rapidly approaching.
No idea what he wants me to do with the foto though. I'll figure that out in coming weeks.
