Rug washing

A long standing tradition in Finland is washing rugs in the summertime. It started years ago, when every home had rag rugs. They were taken to nearby waters and scrubbed clean. Methods have changed some and so have the rugs, but every city provides an area for this activity. Today's +30C temperature provided a perfect setting for such undertaking. We got our exercise for the day!
