Greater Spotted

A regular visitor to the garden at the moment, the Woodpecker must have young in the woods somewhere. He looks a bit ruffled, as the leaves were wet. I spotted him making his way up the tree; presumably he was waiting for the coast to be clear so he could come down to the peanuts. Sunshine and showers today, but it has not been very warm.
