A whiter shade.......

Believe it or not, this is what my peonies look like now
Not a trace of pink
As most of us will, they have gone white with age
I don't think I have enjoyed a bunch of flowers quite as much as these!

It has been another good day
My son Thomas has visited with gifts from a holiday in Canada
We have celebrated his amazing new job, which has "senior " in the title
(I think that's the part he likes the most)
And we have eaten lovely food and chatted and laughed

Another rung of the ladder gained
A tiny step nearer the light
All is well
