BEE OR NOT A BEE?

There were quite a few showers today. Did some jobs in the house, The day brightened up late afternoon and we took the opportunity to go out for a walk.
Another garden blip - there was a lot of insect activity around our pond. I think this is a type of bee but I'm not sure what kind.
