Airport road

Well I wasn't quite expecting to see this today, but then I was on standby so more hopeful than anything. In the end a trip to airport to wait on airport standby in case the bad weather in the Isle of man caused a lot of problems. It didn't so went home a few hours later having not flown.

Standby's are weird duties, it's too easy to treat them as non work days and get a bit annoyed when you get called. But at the end of the day that's what they're there for, you aren't actually being paid to sit at home.
