Elvis has left the building

Disappointed that this shot isn't sharper, but by god it was gloomy out in the garden this evening. Just loved the quiff this blue tit seems to be sporting. The parents are looking bluer as the days go on, apparently this is related to their success in eating particular caterpillers. Not long to go now till the chicks fledge. Hope they leave it till after the weekend rain.

Had a great day at school today - samba druming workshop - a joyful sound. A small window of sunshine this evening had us scurrying for the bikes. Smashing.
