Pining

The weather relented a bit today and I got out to the golf course this evening for a couple of hours of much needed practice. There were still guys playing at 10 o'clock but it was really a bit too gloomy by then!

When I joined many moons ago there were almost no trees on the course apart from the odd clump of Scots Pines like this one but that's all changed now and there are as many trees as you'd find on a typical parkland course. Strangely there are no new Scots Pines though, maybe they grow too slowly? Pity.
