Town and country

Silver Street, Lyme Regis, Dorset.

Today I got up late, then with my daughter drove from our beautiful seaside town along the coast road westwards. The sun was out and we wound down our windows. We were going to pick up two little kittens who have come to live with us. My wife came home at about 6.30pm and we had dinner, then I went out to meet some of my closest friends. We sat round the kitchen table singing some songs together, before having a quick couple of pints in our local village pub. Not a particularly remarkable day, but one, much like all the others I've had, which was free of tyranny and oppression. The rose is from my garden.
