Rehearsal

With my three-day meeting behind me, and my domestic duties put to rest for the day, I spent the night in rehearsal for an outdoor event this Saturday in New jersey (USA).

I'm bringing a couple of pieces with me for this date so a rehearsal was required, but for my part it was a (smile moment) pleasant diversion from the past few days.

Writing, practicing or playing music has always been an escape for me ...an escape from the darker things in life, ...from the things that weigh us down, ...things that overwhelm us and rob us of our energy and our joy.

Rehearsed and refreshed I'm feeling a renewed excitement for tomorrow.
